Sigi Something or Other

Yesterday we were a bit tired as we went out with some of the people from the hostel to exerience night life in Brasov. It's interesting as everyone here is very obsessed with the 80s. Lots of 80s dress and music. This morning, we got on a train to go to a town that starts with Sigi and I can't remember the rest let alone say it. There is a citadel in the middle and reportedly is Dracula's home town. We spent more time on the train then in the city but at least we got to poke around somewhere new. We took a P train there which stands for personal. They are dirty and people smoke alot on them. It stoped 23 times before we arrived. The way back we took and clean intercity train with dining car and bathrooms I would use. There was no smoking and one stop. Much better. To bad it wasn't available on the way there.

Back in Brasov we stopped and a Romanian restaurant for dinner. We met our 4th rude Romanian. The waiter completely ignored us while being very attentive to the other people. In our cold, hungry and sleep deprived state it didn't go over to well. We did finally get food before going back to the hostel and crashing for the night.

Today our plans were to go to Rasnov but it eludes us yet again. The bus schedule did not fit with making it to our train to Constanta. We then got a tad bit lost trying to take a different bus back. Didn't really work. Though we did have our third and tie breaker pizza in deciding if Romanian's can make good pizza. They can't. The "sauce" was again no where to be found. Oh well, I did have some hot chocolate that tasted like a warm chocolate malt. It tasted better than it sounds. Some random guy at the hostel wants me to write about him. He claims he tastes like syrup and wanted me to write that. I'll take is word for it. More later. Becca
